NE Ohio Presidential Tour featuring Lincoln, McKinley and Eisenhower! Meet the three commanders in chief and learn more about their connections in Ohio!

Day One: Travel Day, arrive to host hotel, welcome reception. Depart for Dinner with President McKinley at the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum in Canton, Ohio. William McKinley took America from an isolated country to the world stage by winning the war with Spain and acquiring Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines, marking the start of America as a world power. The president will share his story at a state dinner and escort you through the museum.
Day Two: Begin our day with a city tour of Canton, tracing McKinley’s career and campaign, pay your respects to the President with a wreath laying ceremony at his beautiful and impressive tomb, and enjoy a stop by Harry London’s Chocolate Factory for some shopping time. Lunch will be at the
356th Fighter Group at the Akron Canton Airport. We will enjoy a wonderful feast and visit by President Dwight D. Eisenhower! Go back to the days of WWII as he commanded the victorious European forces and won the 1952 election by a landslide victory with the irresistible slogan “I Like Ike!”
Dinner will be included at the renowned Warther Carvings in Dover, known as the smallest defense plant in the nation during WWII! Enjoy a private guided tour of the amazing carvings, then sit down to a candle light dinner in the Ivory Room surrounded by the priceless works of art including the Lincoln Funeral Train. One of our country’s most enduring symbols of democracy, Abraham Lincoln, will join us for dinner in honor of his 200th birthday! Noted for his noble vision, statesmanship, humanity and political skills, he will take you back to the days of the Civil War and enchant you with his presence!

Warther Museum Candlelight Dinner Tour
Day Three: Take a trip to Dreamsville, USA! We will visit the quaint village of Dennison for a tour of the last home front canteen from WWII, the Dennison Depot! Enjoy the restored rail car exhibits, rail road memorabilia, and learn how the village got the name Dreamsville. Glenn Miller even wrote a song about about the town in honor of their participation during the war. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Trax Diner before heading for home!
