You won’t need your passport to experience an international Holiday event! We welcome you to Sugarcreek, the Little Switzerland of Ohio! Enjoy a bakery stop at the Dutch Valley Restaurant and free time to browse the shops nearby. Visit the Warther Museum and Home to learn how the Warthers celebrated their holidays back in the 1920’s. Enjoy some traditional Swiss treats! Lunch or dinner can be included at the JE Reeve’s Mansion for a traditional Welsh feast. Light the Yule log and tour the Victorian Mansion decorated for the season. Learn more about the traditional German and Amish holiday customs along with English and Victorian traditions while sampling more of our fabulous cuisine and heritage!
Christmas in Amish Country
(Special One Week Event November 11 – 20th)
Features the fabulous annual Warthers Festival of Trees! View dozens of trees, wreaths, and holiday decorations throughout the museum. The family home decorated as a 1920′s style holiday. Enjoy some traditional Swiss treats, and get a jump on your holiday shopping in the gift shop. Meet your local Amish guide and visit an Amish family home for a holiday feast and cookie decorating! Learn more about Amish holiday customs. Visit Tis’ the Season Christmas Shop with three floors filled with decorations and ornaments, gift for everyone included. Stop by a local cheese factory, bakery, and winery to boost your holiday spirits!
Victorian Country Christmas
(Mid-November – Mid-December)
This delightful holiday package showcases the stunning Victorian Mansion bedecked in holiday splendor! Enjoy a delicious holiday feast at the Historic Hotel Millersburg with free time to explore the Inn and the many quaint antique shops and boutiques downtown. Amish Door Village will feature more great shopping along with
accommodations at the gorgeous Victorian Style Inn, delicious meals and holiday entertainment (call for dates on Christmas at the Inn packages) Or let us plan an event for you at the amazing Inn at Honey Run, one of the finest country Inns in America!
Country Inns and Cookies

Enjoy visiting some of the finest country Inns in Holmes County featuring tours and special treats of cookies and recipes! We will include several stops at the Inns beautifully decorated for the holidays along with some traditional favorite shopping stops at the Flea Market, cheese, bakery, bulk foods, Tis the Season Christmas Shop, The Warther family home decorated as a 1920′s Christmas, and more! Enjoy a holiday feast at the Hotel Millersburg, one of the oldest operating Inns in Ohio! Best as an overnight option featuring beautiful accommodations at one of the Inns, but can be run as a day trip. Will have dates for 2010 by end of February. Benefit for Hospice!
Old Fashioned Radio Christmas Show
at Canton Palace Theater

Matinee and Evening Performances
Enjoy a new production for 2011! The live performance features beautiful costumes, music, singing, dancing, and comedy similar to the old Bob Hope and Perry Como holiday shows! Upon arrival spend some time at the Craft Bazarre at the Canton Civic Theater with dozens of unique artisans, boutiques, and crafts. Lunch or early dinner can be included at the Glenmoor Country Club, once home to the Historic Brunnerdale Seminary, Canton Women’s Club in a beautiful restored Victorian Home, or the McKinley Grand for buffet and classic car collection. Make and take buckeyes from Sheri’s Sweets, and enjoy shopping time for some delicious confections. We can also include a stop by Studio Art Glass to watch artisans create fabulous stained glass works. Browse the show room for ornaments, jewelry, and other glass artwork.
